In Marion, Ohio, there are few dental practices as dedicated to the community as Finney Family Dentistry. Generations of the Finney Family have served the area as expert dentists since 1936, and that tradition continues today.
The Finney Family cares greatly about the Marion Community, and about more than just teeth. Dr. Robert Finney is a member of Marion’s Rotary Club, and the practice regularly reaches out to the community around them however they can. Through July and August, the team and its patients collected boxes and boxes of donations to send to local troops stationed overseas. Through the Red Cross, books, snacks, and personal care products were packaged up and sent off as care packages to soldiers from Marion and the surrounding neighborhoods.
This Holiday Season, in their Second Annual Food Drive, they look to continue to give back to their great town by collecting donations of canned goods and other non-perishable food items. Between now and December 15, they hope to see their patients give even more, as these donations will be used to help supply food pantries in and around Marion.
Being a part of the community, and more than just a local dentist is extremely important to the whole team at Finney Family Dentistry. This time of year can be particularly hard for families, and many may not get the celebration that many others simply expect. Whether or not you’re a current patient of Dr. Robert Finney, Dr. Kate Finney, or Dr. Derek Van Dyke, they hope you stop by the office with a donation for their food drive, and help them give back to the Marion community – a community that is know for taking care of its own.
